Trash & Recycling Services

Texas Pride Disposal provides garbage and recycling removal to Heathlake residents. The Association contracts the private service, part of a City of Houston sponsorship program in which the community is reimbursed a portion of the cost.

Garbage Removal Schedule

Pick Up every Monday and Thursday at 6am:

  • Garbage must be placed in front or along the side of the garage, visible from the street.

  • Yard clippings must be placed in bags (each bag 50lbs or less) and placed near the curb.

Thursday Collection Only:

  • Shrubs or tree trimmings not exceeding 3ft or 50lbs should be bundled, tied and placed within 5ft of the curb.

  • Heavy or bulky items.

    • Excludes appliances; please call Texas Pride for information on appliance removal.

Pick Up every Thursday at 7am

  • Any bins marked with a recycling symbol may be used.

  • All homes have received a wheeled blue recycling bin. For replacement bins for purchase, contact mark@texaspridedisposal.com

  • Please do not bag recyclables. Place loose items in any appropriate bin at the curb.

  • Please clean all glass and metal items before recycling.

  • Please do not recycle:

    • Thin plastic bags

    • Styrofoam

    • Mirrors

    • Pots & Pans

    • Light Bulbs

    • Paper Towels

    • Bubble Wrap

Recycling
